Texture Size, Selection Size and Best Fit are not really controls. They
are automatically filled in by the plug-in and give you information
about the image and texture size that is useful when
Auto Size is selected. The numbers displayed
are all in pixels.
Texture size shows the width and height of the texture. Selection Size
shows the width and height of the image or selection rectangle.
Best Fit shows the next larger size that the image would have to be
for an auto-sized frame to fit exactly within the image boundaries.
Note that the Best Fit size depends on the state of
Max Tiling which determines if the
the texture width or height is used as the tiling size.
For example, in the screen shot above, the texture width is 96 pixels
and the height is 97 pixels. In this case Max Tiling is not selected
so the tile size is the minimum of the texture dimensions, 96 pixels.
The image selection width is 396 pixels and the height is 306 pixels,
and neither is an exact multiple of 96 pixels so an auto-sized frame
would be smaller than the selection dimensions. The next larger size
that the selection would have to be for an auto-sized frame to fit
exactly is width 480 pixels and height 384 pixels as shown.
